The walk to the beach
Leave the car in the driveway.
Hardings Beach Road is one of the few streets in Chatham with a sidewalk, so the walk to the beach is easy and safe, even with little ones and a wagon. The water on the Sound side is calmer and usually warmer than the Atlantic beaches.
